The Mebane AKG facility, was awarded the Regional Partnership Award by North Carolina Department of Commerce Program, NCWorks. NCWorks’ mission is to bring businesses and local talent together, so both can thrive. They assist job seekers in finding employment and companies in attaining worker they need.

This week, AKG Mebane has two visitors from the Alamance County School System (ABSS). AKG had the opportunity to host as a result of our partnership with the Carrer Acceleration Program (CAP) at Alamance Community College (ACC).

From 08. to14. April, the world of construction equipment was a guest in Munich.

AKG has been preparing for the 2019 Bauma event. Bauma is the largest construction equipment exhibition in the world and will be held in Munich, Germany from April 8 through 14.

With the charging speed and power density of the latest lithium-ion batteries, active and passive cooling is becoming a key factor in electric vehicle battery life. AKG collaborated with FH Aachen and RWTH Aachen University to find the best combination of cooling technology for a 48 V high-power battery module.
