Following the temporary shutdown due to Tropical Storm Chantal, AKG's Mebane facility has resumed production.
We are pleased to report that AKG North American Operations have resumed production at our Mebane, NC facility as of Monday, July 14, 2025.
The temporary shutdown was caused by the impact of Tropical Storm Chantal, which led to widespread flooding and a municipal order to halt all business activity within the city. Our top priority throughout was the safety of our employees and the stability of our customers' supply chains.
Thanks to the extraordinary efforts of our on-site teams and the cooperation of local authorities, production is now back on track. Shipping schedules are being reviewed and adjusted, and we are working hard to fulfill pending orders with minimal delays.
We sincerely thank our customers and business partners for their patience and support.
If you have any questions, please reach out to your AKG contact directly.
