COVID-19: An Open Letter to Our Family

With the growing concerns about COVID-19 (Coronavirus) we want you to know that the health and safety of our customers and employees is our top priority and at the heart of every decision we make.

With the growing concerns about COVID-19 (Coronavirus) we want you to know that the health and safety of our customers and employees is our top priority and at the heart of every decision we make.

Though the situation is evolving rapidly, we wanted to share an update on some of the ways AKG is doing our part in slowing the spread of the virus. First and foremost, we are closely monitoring the guidance from local and federal authorities, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO). We are asking individuals to refrain from travel unless critical, and have established quarantine procedures after travel to high-risk areas. We have increased cleaning frequency, reinforced hygiene best practices, implementing staggered shifts to limit the amount of employee interaction and as well as remote work to support social distancing. We have also relaxed attendance policies and expanded employee benefits.

As we continue to do our part in the fight against COVID-19, AKG’s management and operations team are in constant communication and developing contingency plans to accommodate any new mandates by government agencies. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we work together to slow the spread of COVID-19 and keep our customers, employees, and families safe.
