On 8 July 2025, Tropical Storm Chantal caused severe flooding in Mebane, North Carolina, leading to a failure of the municipal water-treatment facility. In response, the City of Mebane has ordered all businesses within the city limits to close until further notice.

On June 4, 2025, AKG celebrated the grand opening of its new production facility in Lorena, Brazil – marking a significant milestone for the Group’s international expansion.
